Hurd's New Transcend Replacement Window Offerings Geared for the Times
New Sash Kit Design and H3 Double Hung Insert make upgrades a snap
Medford, WI - October 13, 2011 - Hurd Windows and Doors has expanded its Transcend line of replacement windows with two new products geared for today's economically-sensitive times. Hurd's new adjustable jambliner sash kits and H3 double hung inserts make upgrading old double hung windows a snap. Both new window options can be installed without disturbing the existing walls or trim, increasing the ease of installation, while reducing the waste and costs of a window replacement project.
For old double-hung window units with frames in good condition, sash replacement kits are the least expensive way to switch to new, energy-efficient windows. The Transcend sash kit is precisely sized to replace the operable sash of an existing double hung window.
